UEFA probes Manchester City over potential Financial Fair Play breach https://www.skysports.com/football/...ity-over-potential-financial-fair-play-breach
Frankly its about time something was done about Citehs financial doping. Clear that they shouldn't be able to fund their wages and transfers when they can't even fill the stadium for a start. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47490375
Wouldn’t surprise me if English, Spanish and Italian clubs are helping fund the investigation to try and catch up with City. But published accounts are legal documents, if they have massaged them could someone be going to prison/big fine?
City already been done by FFP once and had to pay a fine and restriction in players they could register for CL. If they are found guilty again, has to be suspension from CL... maybe not great news for the prem which city will be odds on to win that year.
It's obvious they're #bentasfuck Their media statements are a #joke with all the fake outrage about not commenting on "illegal hacking and out of context publication of City emails", especially when they were found guilty of exactly this thing in 2014 so it's not difficult to imagine they were also doing it in 2013
I should think they'd get a transfer ban as well seeing as there is some connection to dodgy agent dealings going on. In the long run curtailing Citeh is a good thing for competition. Look at the level we've had to play at this season in order to keep up with Citeh (and we're currently behind) and had to sacrifice the cup competitions to do so, whilst Citeh are top of the league and still in every competition they entered and stand a good chance of winning all 4, 4! It shows Citeh are a step ahead of everyone else, but have gained this advantage unfairly and if left unchecked imagine how much further ahead they'll be in a few years. In fact you don't have to imagine just look at Celtic and the SPL. Also think about the players, are they going to go/stay to City without CL, potentially having to face lower wages as Citeh are forced to live within their means, not to mention Citeh not being allowed to spend as big again as what Citeh can really afford comes under scrutiny. Although this is just wishful think on my behalf as I can see Citeh riding out any sanctions for a season or two and then find another way around the rules and we'd face the same 'Man City problem' as we do now.
The FFP is something UEFA put in place due to the PL. they had no issue when Madrid were being bailed out. Let clubs spend what they want, wasn’t an issue when the two Merseyside clubs were money pits for owners....
I have mixed feelings... Part of me says... if the owner wants to fire his money in ...so what? But some clubs are just so huge they're sucking up all the youngsters (us included) to almost pay for the other crap while keeping them away from even league competitors. Only way I'd balance it is maybe go a bit yank with first contracts in a pick kind of situation (turning pro) going inverted to the bottom clubs of each league... so yeah they'll still end up at the big clubs..but the wee clubs get the chance at the sale... say...the youngsters have to stay at those clubs for 2 years unless the club doesn't play them for x games in first season...
Rennes equaliser was a great strike, and their third was a lovely goal too. So that's where Ben Arfa ended up
so lfc u18s into semi finals of youth cup. 5-1 win and another 2 goals from glatzel. only one from Bobby Duncan but then it was only bury.
make your mind up. First its Ole is a joke and anyone can do it, next its their squad is **** and rubbish yet OGS has got more points than Klopp
Yeah, but our fixtures have been kind to Ole, in all competitions we have only played Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and PSG
