At the moment I am deffo in the what a great season brigade. As a club we have consistently defied the odds and came back to show character and resilience to compete at a level a lot of our fans did not think we could. We now have a chance to go to the play offs and compete at a level a lot of our fans think we cannot compete at. Success or failure in play off race will not define how well these lads have performed and the doubters will not dampen their character. Just hope they enjoy the game and come out victorious.
Well done to all at SAFC you have allowed us to feel some pride in our club again. Ohhh and 0-3 to sunderland with Boro to beat Cov 2-0 and Millwall to draw 2-2

Thanks for all your great match posts throughout the season IMHO they are superb!

Of course I will go with your team prediction.

As contrary to most football clubs, our away form has been better than our home form this season.

So I confidently predict a win, usual suspects to score. 0-2 Clarke and Amad.

It will be interesting to see what tactics TM brings in to help our diddy men against the opposition giants at corners and free kicks. As obviously Preston will have noticed the two goals scored in our net last week. Perhaps our training staff are not looking after any of the player squad over 6 ft. as they keep getting felled.

Hey ho, it has been a great season, whatever happens now.

Smug I am rather surprised at your post intimating that our season is coming to an end , you should know that the play offs beckon and we all know how unpredictable they can be so RTB may be a Premier writer very soon - Here’s hoping!!!

Was a nervous wreck last week, happy no matter the outcome this week so just going to enjoy the game and see where we end up, jealous of all of those heading down, enjoy the day and roar the lads on the 3 points

Smashing match thread as usual RTB thank you for all your effort. It can only be a win for us nothing else will do, and as many goals as possible, then cross your fingers get the owld pray mat out , and give it some big groveling till we are in the play offs cos once there , i cant see us getting beat, bar a dirty lying ref.

Going for the same score as Master Simpson. 2-3 to the cuddlies. The goal that puts us in the play offs in the 94th minute. Scorers, who cares. They can bounce in off O9s left buttock for all I care. Just give it 100% and what will be will be.

Once again cheers RTB hopefully 3 more to go this season.

Of all the players I'd like to see score the decisive goal Gooch would be my choice ...

... he's had more write offs than Admiral Insurance and never dropped his head.

To do it as captain would be just reward imo.

Ha’way the Lads, 3-2 to Sunderland and Gooch with the winner!!!
