Historic win and a major shock, you won't see much mention of it on the anti BBC as they don't have the rights.

But they have got the women's game between France and England. Wonder if the nati9n will be as enthralled as SKY think everyone is by the women's Manchester derby being played today? The time clash obviously stopping record viewing figures for both games.

At some point in the recent past, someone decided that football match coverage should not be demand-driven, but that it should be equality-driven..

'The public may want to see tense, feisty, local derbies with partisan crowds in full stadia, however we're going to give them coverage of women's games in almost empty stadia with almost zero interest to 99.99% of the population. It's not what they want, but what we feel they should be watching, even though they pay their licence fee and our wages.Anyone who questions this is a bigot by the way."

Well England played in blue the other night while Ireland played in white, so it seems on theme.

Only one, although along the M62 a variant is played that hasn't really caught on except in PNG, Toronto and some parts of NZ & Aus.
