    Cheers ofh

    Back to football.
Which match was this - where, when and what was significant about it?

Commonly described as being action from a particular annual international match, but it isn't - the strips are wrong. It's actually from a club match played the following week at the same venue.

Looking at the houses in the background, I guess it is a pre-war photo taken in Scotland. Hampden Park possibly, and looking at the size of the crowd, a Cup Final. I will have to search records to get any further if that is right so far.

Is it the Celtic v Aberdeen final from 1937 with a record crowd of 147,000 ?

147,365 to be precise - a world record at the time and still a UK record, unlikely to be beaten anytime soon.

    Over to you

Cheers BB. This is an adaptation of a job advertizement.
for this you should be between 24 and 55 years old.
Be no shorter than 1.53 metres and no taller than 1.90 metres.
Have a body mass index between 18 and 30.
    Be in good health.
    Should be a non smoker.
Should have good command of the language (this would be a giveaway if I said which)
Should have 88 days free for this in Autumn.
It doesn't matter if you are an early or late riser (this is irrelevant).
There will be a preparation time for this and psychological and physical tests.
The pay is 18,000 ????? for two months and a supplement up to 30,000.

What job is this and where will it be ?
ps. I wouldn't qualify for this and even if I did - no way. For John and Yoko it might have been ok !!!

It has something to do with beds (special types), though a persons sleep patterns could be disturbed by doing this (amongst other things).

Ok. a couple of clues - the language you are proficient in should be German, English or French. Only 12 candidates will be selected, and the physical (and psychological) tests prior to acceptance are rigorous. The currency paid out is in Euros.

So as you speak English and German, we are looking for someone who speaks French.

Nope, as long as you speak one of the three it doesn't matter which.

Actually I would qualify for this Frenchie - I speak German, I come withint the height requirements (just), but I'm not the right age and I smoke and like a beer in the evenings so it's not for me at all. I'm probably too ''down to earth'' as well.

If you are too down to earth, has it got something to do with flying?
