Henderson "In my life and career, money has never been a motivation"

<laugh> <doh> So he went to play in Saudi Arabia just for the quality of the football :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0172-mooni

Gareth Southgate & Jordan Henderson. What a pair <double>

Southgate says he's tired of being a politician.
He wasn't so tired a couple of years back when he told England fans who didn't like the team taking the knee that they needed re-eductaion.
Or when he spouted a lot of crap about Qatar, but didn't actually raise one finger to do anything.

Henderson has sold out to Saudi cash.
That's not a crime. But he should not witter on about making a difference out there.
Talk about insulting fans' intelligence, as well as the Three Lions Pride and other LGBT+ communities he claimed to support.
Fans weren't born yesterday you sanctimonious pillock.

GS and JH are a well matched pair of hypocrites.
And is Harry Maguire in the starting XI as well? I wouldn't be surprised. He is crap, but Gareth loves him for some reason.

What is the matter with Gymnastic Ireland?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/gymnastics/66913866

A line of young female gymnasts receiving medals.
One of them is a black girl. And she doesn't get a medal. She is simply overlooked.

There is no plausible excuse for that.
Are they claiming the poor girl was just ignored by mistake?
It's not like she was too anonymous to notice.
    This story beggars belief.

Gareth Southgate doesn't understand why some England fans choose to boo Jordan Henderson.

It's quite simple Gareth. They don't like a hypocrite.
The same reason I have no time for Southgate himself.

Henderson bangs on about how much he supports minorities and LGBTQ+ and wants football to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of social, racial or religious differences, or gender or sexual orientation.
Then he goes to play in a Country where women, religious minorities and people of different sexual orientation are persecuted by law.

Few people would begrudge Henderson a chance to multiply his salary massively in exchange for playing in a Mickey Mouse league that nobody cares a fig about.
Money talks. We all know that.
But Jordan, don't feed us the old bollocks that you're going to try and change attitudes "from the inside" or that you still care about the rights of vulnerable minorities.
You've taken the Saudi money. You've proven you don't give a f**k about your former principles.

    And as for Southgate...

Qatar and Saudi Arabia are living proof that if you're wealthy enough and two-faced enough, you can buy anything you want in the corrupt West.
Saudi Arabia - Appalling human rights record. Mass executions. Sheltered and nurtured Al Qaeda & Osama Bin Laden. More responsible than any other Nation on this planet for 9/11.
Qatar - Treats migrant workers like slaves. Lets them die in uncounted numbers on building sites.
Shelters the leadership of Hamas and funds them. Terrorists responsible for the massacre of over a thousand men, women and children in one day. Even babes in arms.

And their reward? - Hosting the FIFA World Cup Finals.

Sportswashing sure cleans away a lot of blood, doesn't it.

Henderson has also been using his "X" account to support the Saudis' bid for the 2034 W/C. One way to ingratiate yourself with your paymaster.

I've heard it's a done deal, like Qatar was.
    Jordan Henderson is a lackey.
The LGBTQ+ community should tell him to sling his hook.

Four Police officers hurt in disgraceful violence by Legia Warsaw thugs before the Villa European match...
Two police horses and police dogs also injured.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-67585147

Now watch UEFA throw the book at the Polish team. I expect a fine of at least 50 Euros <doh>

And the same thing had happened a month ago in Holland from these scum. Why were they given ANY tickets for the match. From now on their away allocation should be zero.

It's been reported that the trouble at Villa was the worst the Police have seen in twenty years.
Yet again and again UEFA pussy out.
    They are utterly useless.

    A heartwarming tale...

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67509606

...of how the :emoticon-0171-star: Chinese Super League :emoticon-0171-star: was brought down, because the Communist Party State curtailed its dreams of unlimited wage excess <applause>
And the strict implementation of COVID lockdown rules - they played behind closed doors for two years.

So-called "fan" jailed for racist abuse

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9elzg3py13o

Good. This muppet also deserves a life ban from all football grounds.
Some people can think this way if they want to. But nowadays such thoughts have to stay within their tiny minds.
There is no room anymore in football for this crass abuse.
They have to learn that if they vent their racist bile they'll go to prison.

    Utterly disgraceful

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67688071

The report says the referee was even kicked and hit by others as he lay on the ground, and he suffered a fracture.

That Club President should be sent to prison - but I bet he won't.
If that had happened in England FIFA would come down on us like a ton of bricks.
All English Clubs would be thrown out of International competitions I should think.

Referees cannot be abused this way. It is totally unacceptable.

I think it’s just to show a strong response and strong condemnation of what happened.

Unfortunately it’s the weak response of football authorities prior to this which led to this in the first place.

It’s high time that football refs had the same protection and same respect as rugby refs.

It’s simple - abuse a ref or berate a ref - play gets moved forward 10 yards. Carry on abusing and berating the ref - 10 minutes in the sin bin. Further abuse, by anyone from the same team - that player gets a red card.
