It was a five goal thriller last time the two sides met back in August with Barnsley scoring an 89th minute winner courtesy of Josh Scowen. The Tykes have gone on to excel beyond expectations this season with the South Yorkshire side in 11th place. Their attractive attacking style of football has seen them gain many plaudits this term and they are the 5th highest goal-scorers in the league. It’s been a remarkable 15 months for Barnsley. In December 2015 they found themselves in the bottom three of League One. Heckingbottom has since guided the club not only to promotion but also the Football League Trophy – their first piece of silverware in over 60 years. Despite their success Barnsley have had some difficulty keeping their best players. This was highlighted in the January transfer market went club Captain Conor Hourihane joined Aston Villa and Sam Winnall departing for Sheffield Wednesday. These departures have somewhat halted their season with Barnsley dropping from 7th and just one point from the play-offs in mid-January to 11th and now 11 points off the top six but still a position they would have very much been happy with at the start of the season. They were beaten 2-1 on Saturday against Derby County at Pride Park. Rangers head into this one enjoying their best home form of the season. Saturday was the first time all year that they have come from behind to win a match and the Hoops have picked up nine points from a possible 12 which has steered the club towards the middle of the table. A win tonight could see the R’s climb three places and into 12th. please log in to view this image Team News QPR: There are no fresh injuries to report on so the squad will be the same one that faced Cardiff on Saturday with Luke Freeman returning from suspension. Barnsley: Barnsley winger Adam Hammill is doubtful after sustaining a dead leg in Saturday's defeat at Derby. Hammill will be assessed but head coach Paul Heckingbottom has no other new injury or suspension problems. Nice to see Mancini, Givens and Derry given due recognition by the club........wonder if Mancini still has the wig? Bit unfair calling the ref a bellend as it was really down to the linesman to call that goal at Blackburn......now he was/is a bellend...... The lass has a nice pair of eyes.........

Returning to football, I would be surprised to see Morrison start. I think we will see Hall in front of the back two, and Yeni in place of Wszolek. For those going, enjoy the match.! COYR's!!!
Looking forward to listening tonight as I assume they'll be no tv coverage. Fancy our chances given our recent turn in fortunate, and an evening game at Loftus Road, under the lights always creates a cracking atmosphere. Jealous of those who are going, just make sure you wrap up warm and enjoy the game!
