Wigan and Forest also lose late - the gods are mostly with us. Blackburn and Cardiff both win but Bristol City somehow manage to lose late 3-2 against the Fakes

We are now the form team in this league.

Time to offer Mackie a big contract extension.

No coincidence we get 6 points without the lightweight luxuries Luongo & Chery.

Thought we played absolute sh*te 2nd half, main problem we had no real striker without Sylla. But a great lobbed pass from Ned and finish from Pawel has given us 3 luckyish points again. URRRRRRs

Brilliant effort from Wszolek (and Ned - who set him up). Olly now has a better win rate (33.3%) than JFH!

At least I won't find the chirping budgies fans at work tonight quite so irritating.

QPR 2 Ipswich 1 (perhaps Ipswich thought they were the new Barca today?)

Pawel Wszolek has scored in his last two appearances for QPR

Pawel Wszolek's late winner saw Ian Holloway win back-to-back games for the first time since taking over at QPR.

Idrissa Sylla volleyed the hosts ahead when he reacted quickest to Christophe Berra's poor defensive header.

Tom Lawrence spectacularly equalised early in the second half as he blasted into the top corner from 25 yards.

David McGoldrick, Myles Kenlock and Lawrence had chances to put Ipswich ahead, but Wszolek rounded the keeper and shot home after a defensive error.

Mackie's enthusiasm must be rubbing off on the team. Two wins on the bounce. Let's hope we can kick on in 2017.

Also, Phillips - was always a class player. It's just that Tony Pulis has installed or given him the confidence he needs whereas our managers appeared unable to do this. Maybe under Olly there may have been a difference - that we will never know. Hope he can keep this going for rest of his career....except in games against us.

Great couple of days for our club. Things looking rosier even though we are only 5 points off the dreaded drop zone. Need to keep this level of performance going.

On the way back now. I think we massively got away with one today.

Some good performances from Wzolek, Mackie and Lynch. Sylla was looking good too. Some absolute dross from Cousins. Bizarre subs but when we win you can't argue too much.

Wonderful finishes for all three goals. Great numbers from Ipswich given they all hate McCarthy and aren't doing much this season. Not much noise though.

I hope we make Pawel our first signing. Having Manning break into the 1st team is like a new signing as well. Still plenty of issues to resolve but I'm not arguing with back to back wins after the run we've had, maybe Ollie has instilled some fighting spirit after all.

He probably would have. If you recall, he has played for Olly at Blackpool.

In all honesty, we need a much higher level of performance. We ain't pretty, that's for sure.
