The key will be keeping the momentum and fighting spirit from the last part of Saturdays game going into this game. Blackpool won their game of the season, vs Reading, but have lost their last two against Stoke and Swansea. They've also gone out of the league cup on penalties vs Barrow. Their only goal of the season so far (vs Reading) was scored by Callum Connolly, but that is their only league goal in three matches. Surely we've got to look at those stats and go all out for a win, but is being us, any complacency and we are bound to be punished for it. Blackpool appointed a new manager, Michael Appleton, on the 17th of June after former Blackpool manager Neil Critchley left to replace Michael Beale as assistant at Aston Villa. Here's hoping that management reshuffle, caused by our appointing Beale, won't come back to haunt us tomorrow night. Team news coming when on the official, but the big news is that our new loan signing, Ethan Laird should come in at right back. More news when it is on the official, and others can continue to add what they know. I'll be at this one whilst on holiday in London, so very much looking forward to this one...and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
What line up would we like to see, I'm going for Laird not being ready, Clark-Salter and Richards injured, and Paal and Willock back. Dieng Kakay-Dickie-Dunne-Paal Field Roberts-Willock-Chair Armstrong-Dykes
I’ll be there, not sure about Saturday though with the train strike. Looking forward to it. Cheers Dave.
Yep same SB can’t wait to go tomorrow as missed first home game as on holiday, poxy strike Saturday could be awkward getting there
Bloody Sky, that's a possible home win out the window. Let's forget the hoodoo and put on a performance. Hoping Willock and Paal return and Laird makes debut. Would love to see Armstrong and Roberts start.
Won't be able to make this one but my preferred attacking line up would look like this ................. ..........win ............. ...win, win, win ..... win, win, win, win. ....win, win, win .... Subs .... win, win, win, win
Ding Kak Dickie Dun H/Lainen Willo, Chair, Field, Roberts, Dozzell Armstrong ie no Johansen or Dykes. 4.(Willo, Armstrong, Chair, Roberts), -1 (Bowler of course)
