They could only get 1 back to started their season with a defeat. We, on the other hand, started with a great away win to Stoke, a game which included a goal from Eze which I have seen replayed many times on various media channels in the few days since Saturday. We go into this game with news that McKenna, (sought after Aberdeen defender), has handed in a transfer request, however, given that other clubs, clubs who can actually spend money, are also interested in him, I can't understand how we are in the race for him given the money situation. It baffles me. Warburton, has managed to scrabble together a decent little squad and from what we saw in our first game, there is hope that this season won't be as tough as some had expected it to be. Wonderfully managed to time my holiday in the UK to coincide with this match, and I'm very much looking forward to taking my former place in the Upper Loft for our first home game, seeing Warburton and this new looking QPR team, and joining in the great roar of... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!! P.S - it seems that over the summer I have lost the ability to add videos/images...if anyone knows why they won't upload/be added to the post, please give tips. Thanks.
And is she a QPR fan or attending matches under duress?? When I met my other half some 25 years ago she started coming to matches with me but after a lengthy winless run I told her I'd be attending future matches on my own Gives both of us a break on Saturdays
She hates football but asks every 18 months or so to come along and be reminded why she hates it. In The Paddocks so hopefully it rains and puts her off for good.
Kent jnr will be making his 1st trip to hq Saturday he’s 6. I know I’m cruel but my dad did it to me and I’ve learned to accept life’s disappointments through QPR. I’m hoping after Stoke I don’t turn out to be a jinx.
I’m not getting married again, I’m just going to find a woman I don’t like and buy her a house. (Stan Laurel)
This is a tricky one alright. No room for complacency. The Terriers will certainly be yapping at our heels and determined to get their season off to start in their bid for immediate return to the PL. I'd take the draw right now!
Yes, it should be a tricky game and a genuine reality check of our team as Huddersfield will really want to win the match after their “surprise” defeat in the opening match. I would play the same starting eleven as against Stoke. Would anyone propose any changes?
I'm off to Greece tomorrow for the Eid al Adha holidays so doubtful i will find a bar showing the game. Will be reliant upon you lot and the BBC for updates Still feeling strangely positive about this season
