This dip in form sees them sit 10th, on 63 points, so surely too far away from Norwich, who occupy the last playoff spot with 71 points. Their top scorer is Will Keane, with 13 goals, which annoys me a little because when he came to us on loan he really didn't impress at all...that said, it feels recent, but he was with us in 2014, so ten years ago. No doubt Preston will be desperate for all three points to keep any playoff chances alive. As for us, we're now 3 points clear of 22nd place, but one bad result, with other results going against us, and we could be in all sorts of trouble. Last time out, against Hull, it was pretty awful to watch, so now we need to pick up some points asap. Having watched our last few games, the attacking play has been far too slow and ineffective. We've scored 4 goals in our last 5 games, and have scored 40 so far this season, and only Sheffield Wednesday (36) and Rotherham United (32) have scored less, and they occupy the bottom two spots in the division. We are playing some good football moving forward, but all too often there is no end product because the move breaks down before a scoring opportunity comes along, or there is no one in the right place when a scoring opportunity is presented. All makes for a rather frustrating watch. Team news and manager comments to come shortly, enjoy if you are making it to HQ for this one, full support needed to try and get the much needed three points, and so as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
As posted on other thread, remembering 14-year-old QPR fan Teddy Disson-Meade. Can we remember Teddy on 14 minutes! R’s fans, please show your support for one of our own with a minute’s applause on 14 minutes against Preston on Saturday. It is the first anniversary of Teddy’s passing. His family and friends will be at the game so let’s show them he is still in our thoughts. RIP Teddy
