Rotherham sit 10th having won one game and drawn two in their opening three games. They signed Conor Washington in the summer, who joins an Tom Eaves, Georgie Kelly and Chiedozie Ogbene, the last of whom already has three goals this season. As for us, I'll be hoping for a massive improvement from Tuesday night. I'm afraid, after that game I'm not going to mention pushing up the table again until I see some evidence that a) we are actually good enough to win a few in a row and b) the squad is consistently developing into one which could challenge for promotion. Team News QPR: Chris Willock should return for the R's, while a broken nose isn't expected to keep out Kenneth Paal. Rotherham: Summer signing Tom Eaves could make his Millers debut after missing the start of the season through injury. Pre-match Talk Mick Beale (QPR head coach): “I’m pleased we’re playing again, and at home, so close to Tuesday. “I felt we gave enough to the game the other night, other than being decisive in the big moments. “When you don’t win, everything’s wrong. I get it and I live with that every day. But it’s important that we turn the corner on Saturday and bring back the positivity.” Paul Warne (Rotherham manager): “To lose at home to Blackpool, they'll (QPR) be desperate to get their home form going and will see our game as an opportunity to do that. “We've had some great games there - the FA Cup game last year - and one of my darkest when we lost 5-0 and another when we lost 3-2 when we were 3-0 down at half-time. I've had the whole rainbow of emotions at that place!” ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!...please be better.
Cheers Dave. Are you in town for this one as well? Due to train strike I will make a late call on whether or not I can be arsed to drive down.
Nah, heading back to Paris via a long weekend in Edinburgh, if that makes sense. Glad I got to see a game whilst over but boy was it frustrating. Anyway...don't want to get into that again, just hope lessons are learnt and Willock is back on Saturday.
I can them turning us over........ They play some good football and Warne is a very decent astute manager.......
There's been 35 mins of decent football from us this season so far, against Boro 1st half. Hopefully the return of Willock will see us produce some more !
You’ve forgotten Barry Chuckle, @daverangers - Rotherham supporter and masquerades as our centre forward at the moment.
Rotherham in good form and gave us a good game in the cup last season, a win here would be a big boost for us but it'll be tough...
It's coming to something when a win at home to Rotherham will give us a big boost ! Here's hoping anyway
