When you go to the home page of this site it quite helpfully groups together in terms of which division they are in. The downside to this is you can see straight away and at a glance how strong the Championship will be next year. Now ask youself. Which three teams would you be confident of us finishing abve next year if we are to keep losing our better players and do not sufficiently replace them. I can see Peterborough and Barnsley and maybe Donny/Derby but if they strengthen they could catch us up and without sounding pesimistic I am start to get gittery!!! Hope im wrong.
Even if we remained as we are now and sold Snodgrass and Gradel (bearing in mind we still a few central midfielders in Howson, Clayton, Nunez and if needs be Bruce and Kisnorbo), I think we could finish ahead of Barnsley, Bristol City, Coventry, Crystal Palace, Doncaster, Peterborough and Watford. We'd still score plenty of goals which goes a long way in this division.
we aren't "continually losing our best players" We've lost one in recent years and he simply wanted to move on and progress with his career, which is fair enough. It's not like he didn't give his all while he was here and to me he's a great. Where this mentality that we're "losing all our best players" comes from I will never know, just because you heard that other clubs want our players, we have no desire to sell so they won't get them and that's just tough luck for them.
We wont score as many goals this season, that is a dead cert. We'll be found out and teams will be expecting the likes of Becchio to win free kicks. A new striker cld suprise the other sides tho, as could McCormack and Somma, ooo ah Nunez
Good to see we are being so positive Im sure we will improve the squad and we may even loose more than Kilkenny and Johnson (no real loss) But christ to compare us to barnsley, peterborough and Donny you got to be joking West ham have to sell..... Birmingham will sell and have no mgr And remember we finished 7th last year!!!!
