Remember seeing him at that comedy club at The Turnpike - must have been about 1994. Not seen or heard him for years; I tend to avoid that panel-show comedy thing though on radio and TV. RIP.
I met him a few times in real life. Certainly not a tortured genius who only turned it on for the cameras, just a genuinely nice guy who was exactly the same off stage as he was on it. Gone far too soon. RIP
