    No doubt the Mags will convince themselves Rafa waited and waited for the takeover but it took too long ...

    ... the reality is that Everton took their time interviewing other managers before they had to settle for Benitez.

    Silly scouse tw@t. Benitez is a quality manager, who gives a feck if he managed Liverpool or not, id understand if it was Gerrard or some other Scouse fan but Benitez is French ffs.

    I'm sure there was a tweet about there being no chance of him going there, more chance of Sunderland winning the Champions League in the next 50 years. Which bong eye absolutely loved cause, had themselves convinced he would come back to prem only for them!

    The amount of times these clubs regurgitate the same managers is hopeless. Have they got no ambition. Watch him churn out dull football and be gone before the season is out. Then back to square 1 and they can appoint Mourinho who will also have been shifted for being crap again.

    Everton are a safe club. Always signed ex man u, man c, Liverpool because of where they are geographically. Raffa still has family in Liverpool apparently so easy choice.
