This Mag communal breakdown is really keeping me laughing, they're absolutely losing it. It's hard to keep track of all the 'innitiatives' they're proposing. It's all supposed to drive Ashley out, which he's already said he wants, but there isn't actually a buyer. They don't seem to realise that all the death threats, boycotts and protests make the chances of attracting a new owner even less possible. Never mind, it's all quite entertaining.
He’s no intention of selling mate, it’s a massive cash cow for him. The takeovers break down as he will only sell for a massively inflated up front fee as he coins it in year on year. He doesn’t give a **** about their ‘protests’ and ‘initiatives’. He’s a self made multi-billionaire, he can deal with anything a Slazenger wearing crusty can throw without blinking an eye.
Absolutely - but the hilarity of it is great isn't it? Annual protests and Boycoutts and funeral marches and shouting at shops!!
Oh aye. I actually was in Sports Direct, in Newcastle, on Saturday. It was very busy. They do a good job of affecting his business
Aye. Was far busier than JD Sports, the UKs biggest sports retailer and I believe 2nd or 3rd biggest overall fashion retailer now. Them protests are hitting the target mate!
Pardew finishes 5th and they have a 'Pardew out' campaign. Benitez finished 10th and they have a midnight vigil. Very strange behaviour.
Dear me ... Just dropped a few harmless posts on the Newcastle board and they're thrashing around like I've hoyed a hand grenade in there. Nowt changes over there except the board is dead on its feet and the 'banter' doesn't change from year to year.
Just ignore Rafas Bullshit, he jumped ship for the money, he's just trying to save face with the supporters the Fat B@stard.
It's hilarious watching the Mags tell themselves he was desperate to stay ... ... they're trying so hard but they know he's played them like a fiddle
It must be the exciting football and top 8 finishes they'll miss A lot of my Mag mates found the football batshit boring and won't miss him.
I thought they were top 6 finishes, as they count them on their 6 fingers, and it confuses them counting to twelve on two hands
Apparently, after a meeting of supporters the Chronicle reported: Following the speeches, those fans present generated a range of ideas that will be put to vote when it comes to the Magpie Group's next step. These range from a march on Westminster to a 59th-minute walkout during the first game of the season, against Arsenal, in tribute to Benitez, who is 59. One of the recurring wishes from the floor was to secure a high-profile figurehead, with Ant and Dec and Kevin Keegan among those mentioned. "We have tried Kevin Keegan," Wallace Wilson, of the Magpie Group, revealed. "To be honest, I'm not exactly sure why but he's quite reluctant to do it. Probably because of his other media stuff I would imagine."
