What would be funny and acceptable would be to parade him as guest of honour before the Everton game for a piss take.

 

It’s ****ing typical that they’ve peddled him before we’re due to play them like! Nee manager bounce (let’s face it, it works for every other ****ing club apart from ours) will surely see them securing the 3 points…pretty sure we play them home and away in a short space of time.

Just to be clear, I do not want Rafa back here. He did the job for us first time around but he’s moved on….and so have we. If we peddle Howe it has to be someone better than him….and way better than Rafa.

 

You do understand the idea of cherry-picking stats to prove your point, right?

I'm not taking a position on this either way, but surely even you could see that you could compare a different period - e.g. last 10 games in charge of the club - and come up with a very different result. Even comparing full time in charge of the club isn't necessarily fair (as people pointed out, time and context are important) but arbitrarily picking '2 full seasons' - conveniently ignoring the period of results that got Bruce sacked - has my bullshit sensors screaming.

 

Yes of course and it's why people were using overall win % rather than credit Bruce for finishing 13th and 12th.

 

With the money we have and where we could be in 2 years, I think we could be doing better.

We only ever close threads if the person who's thread it is asks us to. We've always had the rule that people can ask to have their own threads closed.
