Apart from the Hull game, we've lost the games we should have lost and will play some teams we should be beating in the next handful of games. 4 points from the next 2 games will be a step in the right direction. I'd take a point away to Stoke and I fancy us to beat Man United. Done it the last 2 season so why not and they look susceptible to the counter attack and that's something we look good at. The next 2 months are huge. We need to go on a run now and we are capable of it. If we can get Montero fit and keep Barrow playing, we can beat anyone.
We should have 20 points and in 14th or 15th place by the time the ball falls in time square . And will improve from there IMO
Let's hope Llorente knows the scoop by the time the ball falls in Times Square and that Baston is out of the crate For anyone who doesn't know (like me) what he's on about: The Times Square Ball is an LED geodesic sphere located in New York City's Times Square. Located on the roof of One Times Square, the ball plays a prominent part of a New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square Commonly known as the ball drop, where the ball descends 141 feet (43 m) in 60 seconds down a specially designed flagpole, beginning at 11:59:00 p.m. ET, and resting at midnight to signal the start of the new year. In recent years, the festivities have been preceded by live entertainment, including performances by musicians.
We could get 8 points there. Can't see us getting anything against Spurs but the rest are possibles. If we don't get anything I'd say we've had it although my handful was Xmas time but we do need points from the next 5 games. If we can put a performance together for the full 90 (Liverpool 1st half, Watford 2nd half) then we'll get something from all of those 5. We took points (at least) from all those teams last season so why not?
The aim is to win every game and to be fair we have not been hammered by anyone really, What we have lacked is confidance and i think that is starting to return under Bob, We still have a long way to go and i dont think we will reach the 40 point mark but i think we will get enough points not to finish in the bottom 3 and that is the main aim for this season.....Come the January window i can see Bob bringing in some new faces and we will cross the line too safety and another season in the premiership assured.....KTF
Not one to revel in your situation But time for you boys to get real, only a few games into the season and the doom & gloom brigade are in full voice. Hate to say this but there are more than 3 teams worse than Swansea if you are in the same position come March then you can complain.
