    During the pandemic we were beginning to get a bit bored. Tonight I came across this thread Getting Bored which had a post from Charlie which made me chuckle. It contains links to some of his masterpieces (and also Bustino and Tamerlo)

    Very strange, and disturbing how he disappeared without a word so some may like to have a look at some of his colourful contributions

    Loads have disappeared off the forum suddenly without so much of a dramatic exit!

    GC had loads who’ve just suddenly stopped posting and you do wonder if they died or received bad news, or they forgot their log ins.

    He had been with us since the year dot and was unique. Those of us who have also been around forever obviously have more of an affinity with Cyc than those who joined later

    His piece on the Birdsville Cup is a literary masterpiece. I often re-read it, brings a happy tear to the eye.
