A bit of fun for Tuesday to solve this riddle of a past class Flat horse.

Diamond like at first, Ron always finds it so.
My second you’ll get when wanted you don’t .
My third ‘it’s a place to which you go,
Sometimes secret, a snug, a haunt.

    That one didn’t last long!
How did you find it? Easy or hard?

Crikey Tamerlo, that's the first time I've ever got near one of your riddles.
    Happy New Year to you.

PS. See if you can answer this oblique poser….
What does Santa Claus have in common with the White Star Line? ;)

    Ismay
    John Ismay owned Santa Claus
Ismay family were major shareholders of White Star Line

Its good to know my brain still works sometimes. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the Ismay's had racehorses and there might have been a Derby runner/winner in the years after the Titanic that suffered in the stewards room because of the link with Titanic.... but I could be wrong

    janabelle, we’ll done!
Yes, Craiganour was the horse which was robbed of the 1913 2000 Guineas and Derby wins because of the hatred for the White Star Line and the Ismay family.
    And J.Ismay owned Santa Claus.
If you’re interested , I did a post in my Down Memory Lane articles - available through the not606 Index.<ok>
