I've been on the phone to the football club, out of interest to see if they still have any availability for us to play on gods green, if we can get the numbers. There's three days available. Tuesday 16th May - 3.30pm - 6.15pm Friday 26th May - 3.30pm - 6.15pm Friday 2nd June - 8.30am - 11.15pm I'm still available and willing to play, the girl I've spoke with ha told me it's short notice so we will have to move quick. If you are a certainty and would like to play, please drop your name down on this thread so I can have numbers. Cheers. Oh, remember it's £1800, so if we can get 18 together then we are looking at £100 per man. You get a tour of the Stadium, use of all the facilities, play the game and also an awards ceremony afterwards.
I'm still up for it, didn't think we had anywhere near 18 volunteers last time round to make it affordable. The days\times aren't brilliant being during the week but my preferred choice would be Tuesday 16th May, I'd just be back off holiday however if pressed I could do one of the Fridays. Hope this is of use, didn't think this was going to happen so well done 83, wait and see.
I'd be available (and willing) for all 3 dates, but I wouldn't expect June 2nd to be very popular because it'll be too early for some The afternoon dates will fit nicely into a 'full day' job too, considering the obvious celebratory session afterwards (so Friday 26th would probably be perfect)
I was hoping you would reply, I know you were training for it We would had about 16 lads saying they would play, so we were just about there. We could go with that and pay a little extra or between us I'm sure we could get another couple of lads from somewhere to make up the numbers.
Good god we are scrapping the barrel now In all seriousness, thanks Gordon. That's 3 of us, so it's a start. Friday night around Sunderland after the game perhaps? (to celebrate your MOTM award )
I'm playing with my mates now on the 26th sorry lads - although those times and dates wouldn;t have suited me anyhow due to work- can;t afford 2 lots - plus I'm carrying a pretty bad torn ligament injury at the moment so not able to do anything!!

I couldn't say with any certainty that I could be there on a weeknight, it's work then looking after bab for me and hopefully that's not going to change. It would be a fantastic experience though so good luck getting a group together for it.
Too old mate, sorry. 15 year ago i'd have snapped your hand off at the chance but not anymore, although i'd be happy to turn up and offer support?
No chance. No problem, mate. Thanks for replying Be good for you to come along and have a pint after the game. I think Pops said he would come along to watch as well
