Jeremy Hardy comedian and regular panelist on Radio 4 now passed from cancer at 57!. One of the funniest in a wry style. GREAT is a word used too often when footballers are talked about, but not in this case. Banks was the best goalkerper (Lev Yashin was close) by a country mile. His command of his area was superb. Tragically lost an eye in a car accident in 74. One of few World Class players England has produced. RIP Banksy one of my all time heroes
I was privileged enough to have seen him play albeit at the Portaloo. An absolute legend - RIP Banksy.
