Been watching the car crash that is Wayne Rooney this season, and my god, he has been utterly terrible, and yet game in game out, he starts for Man Utd and England, but what has really pissed me off is the deafening silence coming from various pundits regarding that fat ****, Wayne Rooney. These same pundits and even journalists slaughtered Mesut Ozil a few years ago, and he was not playing anywhere near as bad as Rooney is currently playing. Rooney has plenty of mates in the media, and clearly they are afraid of upsetting Shrek, so remain silent, even Gary Neville, refuses to see how Rooney is basically hindering United, I have read so many united fans calling out Rooney, it's unreal, even manager after manager refuse to see how Rooney is hindering a whole team, but apart from Fergie, nobody has the balls to drop him. This guy must have some serious influence in the background or something. Anyway, long may Jose pick Rooney and continue to ruin a quality player like Martial.
LOL. I must admit I thought you'd be happier at Chelsea's demise rather than Utd's. Anyway this might sound strange coming from a Spurs supporter but I SERIOUSLY hope you thrash Chelsea.
I hope he ****s martial off and he joins us. sadly with that prick Maureen at the helm I don't think he'd ever do business wth us
Was thinking the same thing. Maybe Wenger can kiss and make up with him and maybe take him out for a pizza...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37404076 This is what I am talking about regarding Rooney, how the **** can they objectively say that Rooney still has a place in the starting line up? These two pundits are not even former team mates of Rooney, and it still feels like they are scared to say what they really think when it comes to Rooney. That ****er is wielding some serious power in football at the moment. 'Somebody needs to be dropped', grow some balls yer pricks.
If Utd went with a midfield of Carrick/Sniederlin, Pogba and Mata they would tear it up in he middle of the pitch. Give Mata a more free role to create, play Pogba as a box to box and the other guy take the more deep lying defensive role. With Ibrahimovic, martial, rashford and mkhitaryan in the forward three positions they have enough fire power to get the goals. They have a quality GK, but are lacking a bit at the back still. I'm glad Mourinho has so far mis-managed them / not settled on a system that works / keeps starting Rooney.
Yeah I watched the interview and found it bizarre, one even suggested that he would be better placed as a deep lying midfielder?!?! I do agree, it's like everyone doesn't want to say the obvious and say he is past it. The fact that Maureen is still playing him when he has better players at his disposal is strange. He hasn't been elite level for a few years and is lower to mid PL quality at best.
It is strange. United have the players but Maureen is buggering it up by playing the wrong combination of players and not playing an effective system. Let's see if he can change things soon or get worse.
Oh dear, looks like another one of our North London cousins are at it again, this time Kyle Walker who thinks Spurs are good enough to win all competitions, because they have the "depth". You'd think after they embarrassingly imploded and surrendered 2nd spot to us last season wasn't clear enough that they don't have it, but to suddenly think they can win all competitions. Sometimes players need to STFU.
Every Season we get this ****. (and its normally directed at Arsenal) - Yet Spurs fail every year. The just need to STFU.
You do realise that last season Spurs had just one striker who was worn out in the run in, now they have two strikers so the work load is lessened. Spurs have a first team to equal (or even better) yours and a better bench/squad. They imploded last season but may have the depth to keep going this season.
United are absolutely pulverising Leicester. 3 of the 4 goals they've scored in this first half have been from corners. Leicester really have been lackadaisical. They look miles different from the side that were so defensively sound last season. Pogba's finally off the mark, though.
Really? BBC made it sound as if most of your chances came from set pieces. What has happened to Leicester? Also why aren't they playing Schmeichel?
