Anyone practising big government + authoritarianism + totalitarianism seems to end in the genocides of millions. LIKE the Nazis.
Phew. I thought you were going to say that some undergrad on a "grievance studies" course was the hacker.
Yeah, aggressive, expansionist dictatorships tend to do that. That still doesn't make them all Nazis or left-wing, though.
I lost track of the argument some time ago. The Nazis aren't/weren't a race, but they identified strongly with a racial group - white Northern European. Racism, based on racial superiority, was a key tenet of their philosophy. Sadly, that was also true of the British Empire. And the ideology which underpins this is still alive today. Hence we have sections of society who are inherently racist (however they may choose to disguise it and dress it up). And we also have groups who promote an anti-racism agenda which serves to draw attention to differences and divisions on race lines, which is ultimately counterproductive. And then we have everyone in-between - like most of us. People are far more complex than simply the race or colour or creed they identify with and should be judged for all their virtues and faults, whatever position on the fence you take when sitting in judgement on them. (That sounds quite profound - here endeth the lesson!!!)
And there is the fact that I generally prefer black women, this may be racist, but certainly isn't racism. It's my personal preference. All of my children are mixed race.
King of Belgium, Leopold II (Queen Victoria's uncle), killed twice as many Congolese citizens than the number of people Hitler killed in WW2, why has history swept that one under the table?
Jesus, you keep calling yourself racist. By my definition what you've written here would not be racist but by yours......... You can't be racist without there being racism, so your post above is bizarre.
Only all of them, you may have a point. Haile Selassie had significant blood on his hands as well, but as most of his victims were black muslims, or black Christian opponents, that seems to have been forgotten as well.
The ****er nicked a country and killed millions of people there. Hitler was probably responsible for more deaths than him, though. Ben Affleck's making a film about Leopold, so perhaps he'll become more widely recognised as a massive ****bag?
He killed at least 11 million Congolese, but almost certainly a lot more. I thought Hitler was around the 6 million mark.
Hitler was probably responsible for 11 or 12 million noncombatant deaths and then you've got WWII on top, if you include that. The 6m figure is just for the Holocaust itself.
