So now that handball law has (currently) led to a four point swing between us and Leicester. Two points lost against Newcastle by us, and as it stands two points gained for Leicester. No it isn't Spursy - because that implies acceptance of the situation - it is desperately unlucky.
Having seen the Leicester penalty, that one of all the dodgy penalties of late was acceptable by the current standards
Maybe the league will be decided by penalties. Highly unsatisfactory. Of course nobody will admit it, but I hope someone does some analysis at the end of it all.
BBC saying that the poor second half of the best game of the weekend (TM) was fatigue caused by fixture congestion. Well we've played more games than these two. Yesterday was all about Olly-G raving about having to play Wednesday then midday Saturday. We played Thursday then midday Sunday, can't see much difference there. But then again we're not "certain teams" are we?
PLus didn't we play quite a long way away? Isn't Rugrats in Bulgaria of somewhere pretty eastern European?
Ah, bless. Perhaps somebody should refer them to the following : https://www.not606.com/threads/club-watch.349752/page-75#post-14250268 W M ----------------------O
Yeah, we played in Turkey and got back to Manchester 4-00am Thursday morning so that was a day written off, had a short training session on Friday then on Saturday got up, had breakfast and went to play the game. Would have been something similar for your team
A few years ago we had to play on a Thursday night in Sevilla and then play Chelsea in the PL on the Saturday lunchtime game. Less than 48 hours between games. This season we played Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. 4 games in within 170 hours. That is being set up to fail. Wednesday and Saturday is normal if you are in the CL
