Not that it makes much difference now but I would rather have seen him stay just 1 more week. I was quietly confident of a point in our last game but now I am not so sure.

Now exactly a surprise, I think they must have gotten rid of him to spare him and more importantly from their perspective the players from the vitriol of the crowd.

    Bah!

TBH Thai When City take the field on Sunday it will be the first time that I really couldn't care less about the result.
    Win, lose, draw, meh :emoticon-0145-shake

I felt the same and thought sod it, I can't be bothered to even watch a stream - but as it looks like being the last time in God knows how long there'll be a guaranteed live stream to an NCFC game, I may well relent! :emoticon-0181-fubar
Apart from half a dozen games chosen for broadcast next season (and beyond?) it could be some time before the opportunity (to see my boys play on the telly) occurs again :emoticon-0106-cryin

Well, I've renewed my season ticket for next season, but unless we're at least somewhere close to the top 6 when it's time to renew, it could well be my last.

You know how most players have relegation clauses directly reducing wages if / when the worst happens? Shame something similar doesn't apply to S/T renewals as well.
Say 20% discount as in a far lesser league next year <ok>

But you get more football! And given we were plauying in the PL with a championship squad it's not so different because thats what we'll be going again with!

    Bah!

**** that. I want us to win. Always.

Apart from anything else, finishing above Newcastle gets the club something like an extra £1.5m doesn't it? That would cover most of Mulumbu's wasted wages (rumoured...)

But mostly it would be nice to have a bit of pride, end on a high. Upward trajectory etc

Of course I would rather we won Rob but the game in reality is meaningless now, I'm still coming to terms with us playing in that Godforsaken Division next season tbh :frown:

Kinda feel the same, with most things almost wrapped up, this weekend of football feels pointless, pity we can't decide not to play lol. But kudos to all the supporters who are still travelling all that way.

Also in other news, Watford are parting ways with their manager too.

Shame they couldn't have sacked him before Sunderland game.

There's some sort of club event tonight, may be their players
Of the season awards etc, and they thought there was going to be a big fan demonstration at the venue, that's why they've got rid of him before that took place.

Really thought he would do well there, and be up around the Euro places. Especially with signings like Lukaku.

He just really doesn't know how to organize a side to defend!
