I mean there's no reference to him becoming a knight in the actual films or anything.

Surprisingly darth maul actually managed to live until not long before the battle of Ensor by the look of it

    It's been a while!

Star Wars Celebration, the convention which Lucasfilm has hosted for years to talk about Star Wars and release stuff, has started today in London.

I'm here right now, and during the Rogue One panel, they showed this BTS sizzle reel.

They are apparently releasing a new trailer tonight anarl. As someone who was in the hall during the panel, I've already seen it! Won't spoil anything though. Also got a free Rogue One poster too.

No that's just silly , I have a holly tree in the garden and I'd puncture her if I inflated Sapphire outside ....

But I do blow Star Wars figures up using small charges (it is accidental as I'm not trying to destroy the figures usually , ) I do small scale pyrotechnics

Yep, I was at the Rebels panel and saw it all. So so happy with it, mostly with Thrawn finally returning.

Rouge One may not have an opening crawl.

They should do similar to how they opened the Rogue One panel, with the original crawl, which is then interrupted.

I've been meaning to post on this thread, but have been too busy enjoying London for once <laugh>

I felt overall that Celebration was a tad underwhelming bar the Rebels stuff, though I suppose we did get loads last year.

I went to the Future Filmakers' panel on the final day, which had Rian Johnson (Ep8 director), Lord and Miller (Han Solo directors), Kathleen Kennedy and a couple of others with Pablo Hidalgo.

They brought out the new Solo, Alden Ehrenreich, as well as John Boyega. At the very end Hamill and Fisher made an appearance too (they had been at other panels).

It was a somewhat underwhelming panel, because I think everyone expected something big, like the Ep8 title, or more casting, or the next anthology film being announced, and we got nothing new really.

Despite the lack of massive news, Celebration was bloody ace to finally be able to visit.

I think he is a **** choice for Han Solo. I mean, did you watch Beautiful Creatures? Probably not it was ****ing awful and he was awful in it. Take my word for it and dont bother watching it.

To compare, have you seen him in Hail Caesar? He was fantastic.

You can't really say he's **** until you've seen him playing Han.

Basing a person's acting off of one film is just stupid. Would you base Al Pacino's career on his performance in Jack and Jill?

For me, he's a good choice until I am proved otherwise, based on what I have seen of him. We'll have to agree to disagree.

He came top of thousands of auditions, so Lord and Miller, who are vert good directors, obviously saw something.

Though I never would've made a Han Solo film in the first place if I was in Kathleen Kennedy's shoes.

This is a very considered process, they auditioned hundreds of actors for the role. You need to give them a bit of faith. Lord & Miller are brilliant.

**** actor. You have to prove your good after a performance like that one. Al Pacino proved himself before Jack and Jill (WTF is Jack and Jill, I probably dont want to know)

I wouldnt have made a Han Solo film either. It seems just like a way to make more money by trying to bank the film off how much people like Han Solo. I would rather they have made an anthology film about a character we hadnt seen that much.
