looks like he’s gone the Rumour is he’s been bullying some players and acting the big one and Parkinson has stood up and told him to do one
100% he (McGeady) was told by Parkinson to stay away from the training ground due to his attitude. Seem's quite a few are now hearing he's had his contract terminated. Don't know about that. I mean, what must the Americans think of this circus act. Absolute pi$$ take what is happening. Players supposedly do not like Parkinson. Ex players don't have great things to say about him also. A change HAS to be made now. We can still bring someone in, not only to get us back amongst the promotion shake up, but to lift the whole club. Awful feeling SD isn't going to have the balls to do so.
All of them, or just a select few? Any player stinking out the dressing room with a bad attitude should be shown the door first, not the manager. If the manager goes first, player power rules. Who's to say that the same bunch of players who have downed tools, won't do it again if they don't agree with the new manager. Deal with them first, then the managerial situation. However, with January looming, rather than get rid, we could've made him train on his own, and get a fee for him.
Sure I've seen elsewhere that a player has been sacked but the owning club have held his registration so any club signing him has to agree a fee for the release of his registration,
Good Question. I can't see it being all the players, but that was all I was told "the players don't like Parkinson" by a friend very close to one of the players. As above also, McGeady was asked to leave & stay away. Who the bad eggs are in the changing room, not sure of names, but was also told the mood/atmosphere in the changing room after the 5 nil win we Tranmere was pathetic. Was as if we'd been beat 5 nil. Just little groups no togetherness or team morale at all. This is why we NEED a change. Someone who isn't going to be a soft touch. This lot need sorting out. Parkinson isn't the man. There has been absolutely nothing in the 12 or so games he's had to suggest he can turn it around. The final straw being his team selection last Saturday. We have to replace him.
Thing is other people are saying that Parkinson's Assistant has been too harsh and the players don't like that. I think the problem is the team just aren't quite good enough, coupled with a bad manager and apparently a bad egg or two in the dressing room and we get the shambles we have on the pitch.
He's the youngins fav player as well only because both have number 7 on top. Next year his fav player will be number 8 probably
