All that being said, based on the tournament so far, Terry and new captain Gerrard both seem to be doing fine so maybe it's not that bad a situation after all. Gerrard certainly would not have been my choice but you have to say he has risen to the occasion and delivered, and Terry doesn't need the bloody armband to lead the defense. Hell he even makes Lescott look good.
So you didn't notice that the comment Christian was replying to had Suarez and Rio found guilty by an FA panel and not of a court of law in the same sentence as a man due to appear on a criminal charge in a court of law in a few weeks? The FA aren't the law are they? As for 'if he was going to be found guilty of anything he wouldn't be anywhere near the Euros',his club applied to the west London magistrates at his initial adjournment to further adjourn the case until he had completed his season with club and country. The nice magistrate kindly agreed to it.
It's amazing how many managers just don't agree with you Christian. I wonder why? "It is so important you choose the players you think are the right ones, that you work with them and get the experience for yourself. "I can only talk about John and the four or five weeks I have been working with him. "He has been a top-class professional and very good off the field as well." Three Lions captain Steven Gerrard has also heaped praise on Terry and the influence he and the some of the other senior players have over their younger compatriots. "It's not just about one captain in this squad," the Liverpool midfielder said. "We've got a lot of leaders and fantastic people around the set-up, and the reason we're doing so well is because everyone is pulling in the right direction and leading by example. "John has been a big part of that. His performances have been superb."
Chelsea FC have not done any such thing. It was Terrys lawyer who is not affiliated in anyway with Chelsea FC scousy. Your obsession is such that little things like the truth appear to get in the way.
Yes,how else would you describe someone who actually searches other forums for links about Chelsea then
Digging Yep because I'm the one posting links about Chelsea from another forum aren't I Well done Captain Gerrard. Made it hard for everyone else today because he's such a weak bastard not able to stay the pace. God help us if Roy keeps him.
There was a thread created by an ex member along the lines of "which United player will get blamed for England's failure?" I won't bump that because the blame falls solely on the manager who persistently started two out of form players=Rooney and Young, other options were available but he wrongly gambled on them miraculously coming good. Epic fail!
Are you actually blaming the manager for two players that had excellent seasons playing like pub players?
Another forum that i'm a member of like yourself? Gerrard who's England captaincy record is better than your crush? Gerrard that has to cover left/right/forward and defence as opposed to a player that rarely plays over the halfwayline? You're getting boring now kid,get your head down and stay away from your Terry posters for a few days and your sperm count will break a world record.
Just trying to get this thread back on topic I'm blaming the manager for not realising that club form doesn't always equate to international form.
He should have had the balls to stop playing Young, he had a good season but was not playing well but Roy stuck with him, tht is Roys fault. It's not Young's fault he got picked.
**** no (although why take him if you're not going to use him) O-C looked sharper when he came on than Young did. Young was having a mare and Hodgson kept playing him, O-C was not brilliant, but he did better than Young did.
