http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39301241 Roy Keane is not impressed Not everyone in the United squad has been used extensively. In midfield, Michael Carrick has played for one minute in United's past three games, while Jesse Lingard has played for nine minutes and Bastian Schweinsteiger not at all. Full-back Luke Shaw, who is in England's squad to face Germany and Lithuania, has not been involved since the Premier League game against Bournemouth on 4 March. Former United captain Roy Keane is giving no credence to Mourinho's complaints. The Irishman, who made 480 appearances and won seven league titles, a European Cup and four FA Cups in a 12-year United career, feels Mourinho is making excuses and they could have beaten Rostov - eighth in the Russian Premier League - with a reserve side. He told ITV: "Why do we have to listen to that garbage? "He is manager of one of the biggest clubs on the planet. They've had an easy ride in the cups, with a lot of home draws. "Maybe the club's too big for him. I'm sick to death of him. Manchester United reserves could have won that game." I'm liking him a lot more since he stopped playing.
I respect for what he did for Manchester United but he's got to stop having a go at us, He's been doing it for the last couple of years.
Not this time he's not, He said maybe Manchester United is too big of a club for Jose Mourinho, I disagree what he said in terms of that.
Yeah, he is pushing it with that part but I do agree with Jose talking a lot of nonsense. Always has, always will.
It's no different to Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola moaning about the fixtures over the Christmas period.
Roy Keane, having failed at club management, turning into a bitter old man whinging from the sidelines of the sport? Didn't see that one coming.
Jose is doing to United what he did so well at Chelsea....he has made them ultra defensive and predictable. He is also alienating himself with his antics like 'the best team lost' and 'the referees are anti united'. Not to mention talking up ordinary players as world class.
Why is he pushing it?...Keane is an OT legend...I think he is entitled to his opinion and I think he might have a point. It's a massive job....and Jose deals with pressure quite poorly.
You need to teach the United fans how to deal with it...should they bum Jose too like the Chelsea fans did? It was emotional.
When Jose won the title in 2005 he had us playing top football...record goals, points, away wins, etc. But wtf happened? He's still a top manager but you have to take what comes with him.
You are missing the key point here; Roy Keane is an even more annoying prick than Jose, who at least has the ability to laugh at himself. In any other walk of life, Jose would be considered a bit of a twat, but forgiveable because quite likeable. Roy Keane would be in prison.
Keane was a terrific player, but an equally hopeless failure as a manager. He's got zero management skills and even less tact. Mourinho? Tbf, give him a bit more time before making any firm judgement.
