Thank god for that....does this mean that the ITV schedules will be back to normal again? Here's hoping.
Lost to greater passion when all we needed was calm professionalism last week, simply lost to a better, better prepared team this week. England undercooked for this tournament, bit immature. Congratulations Wales and the Aussies, hope they both get to the semis, along with Ireland. Anyone except SA beating the All Blacks would be most welcome. Plenty of great rugby to come in this tournament, and now us English can simply sit back and enjoy it. And wait for Japan.
I hope this spells the end for Lancaster, he's been shown up as totally inept at this level, wrong selections, wrong tactics, wrong coach...
Australia's biggest ever victory at Twickenham. England have bottled this tournament and the coaches need to be cleared out and new ones need to start again with a talented pool of players, still with a lot of potential. Australia were immense and easily the best team I've seen so far in the tournament. They will take some stopping!
You have to take into account the standard of the opposition, we made them look like world-beaters. Although I think NZ are barely out of 2nd gear at present...
I'm sure the media are now going to slate Lancaster. The same media that completely overhyped them. England were unbelievably unlucky to get that group. This team is still developing. It won't happen over night. Very exciting young backs but the forward pack are not competitive at the top level. The pressure got to a lot of players tonight. The handling errors were awful and killed any momentum. It will be strange to watch the rest of the competition with England gone.
Said before that ribshaw couldn't captain the Bismarck to victory...Lancaster a typical dour northerner with no game plan or tactical, substitutional nous....remind you of anyone?.... Comon. The boyos!
Australia and NZ well ahead. The rest only making the numbers Lancaster should stay in my opinion. England have improved in certain areas over last few years.
And who's bloody fault was that? Only joking.............I'll be supporting Wales from now on, although I fear they will not get past the semis with all their injuries.
Reckon he'll walk after the next game......very one dimensional the England play, far to far behind the gain line.....look where Foley was taking the ball most of the match, he only needed to make a meter and he was putting his side on the front foot......England were too laboured and too deep..... The game has to be played on the front foot and England didn't do that tonight.......
