The regular RTG idiot, known as Doberman, complaining that people on this thread were having a laugh about what rum and other drinks they like ... ... despite the RTG thread talking, for months, about what cans and drinks they have stockpiled. All the decent lads, on that forum, must shake their heads at times
@Guy Incognito, I preferred the "I've seen things" dialogue...or is this the same? BATTY I've seen things... (long pause) seen things you little people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion bright as magnesium... I rode on the back decks of a blinker and watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. (pause) all those moments... they'll be gone.
You'd think not because they're out shouted by the idiots, but RIP, Rocky, Hawyat, etc try to keep things going. Even Roger, the boss, has been on trying to try to stop all the bitching.
It is mate. "all of those moments.... will be lost... in time, like tears.... in rain. Time... to die".
Fair play to them for trying but Roger, tbf, should be able to stop it all, he owns the damn thing! If he appointed decent Mods then half the problems wouldn't exist.
Tears in the Rain. Rutger had a hand in this, altered the script the day before filming. Class monologue, class film, and based on a class book by a class authour. Classy all round imo.
Someone from RR is a Pro MMA Fighter as well. I think I want to see this fight more than the takeover!
@Blond Bombshell That's the original script, Rutgar Haurer re wrote it the day before filming it and ad-libed the "tears in the rain" line. Both are beautiful, but I think the tears in the rain nails it. 42 words to sum up what experiences a man has had in his life and how they'll pass away and be lost once he's gone. Sad and depressing but also uplifting, how he's seen and experienced things no one else has and lived more than some who'll live for another 60 years.
I'd love to see this in the name of charity (for the foodbank?) Captain caveman v 4 lads (one of who must be pretty handy.)
Excuse my ignorance mate, but I’ve read about these draught lagers and I’m a slightly puzzled. I find draught lager in a pub just as fizzy as bottled lager. These canned draught lagers any different? Just asking.
I have been to graft. I have had a semi on all day anticipating THE NEWS we have all been waiting for. Logs on and sweet FA. It rhymes with clucking bell.
It's German pilsner mate, brewed under purity law. Much better than your standard pub lines IMHO. The only German beer I am not keen on is Becks, tends to take on a burning rubber odour and taste after a few. Might not be the same for everyone. I find my palette is better suited to the German market.
