Any player who goes in with a two-footed sliding tackle, especially in slippery conditions, is taking a chance. The ref could see a yellow card or a red card in it.

The point is there was contact, Pulis is claiming there was none but the thick twat has sent in a picture showing there was so is talking complete ****e and is trying to deflect away from the fact he has signed a load of **** players who are playing **** football and he is totally lacking in ideas about how to turn it around.

 

I was attempting to point out that the picture does not necessarily show that Huth was in the wrong. Anyone who has not seen the incident, but only sees the picture, could interpret the image in different ways. Stoke and Sunderland fans will obviously see it from different points of view and both will argue that the other is wrong.

I don't think it was a red and Pulis can complain about the decision as much as he wants but calling Meyler a cheat is surely bringing teh game into disripute... we should report him for that outburst!

Myler landed heavily on frozen ground and he didn't 'roll around acting', he lay like you do when you've had a sickening blow... given he's had cruciates problems I'm not surprised.

Or is pulis denying he went flying and landed badly too?

 

It wasn't two footed, but it did look nasty due to the fact that Meyler (?) managed to jump out of the way and caught his foot on Huths knee/ Huth caught Meyler's foot with his knee (delete depending on which team you support!), which caused and awkward landing. Hopefully Stoke will appeal and it will be rescinded.

 

You make four points in your comment. I agree with only one of them! The first, third and fourth are true, but just because won, doesn't make you better than us. I don't have a problem with you beating us today and I have nothing to 'get over', I'm merely joining in the debate about the tackle.
