Diallo has looked good tonight. I think he could be important for us this season.

 

Another good pre-season performance. Perraud looks really promising at LB. Salisu's going to be a beast this season.

 

We have looked pretty good preseason. The press seems to have had a tweak and we look much quicker with the ball and going forward. Replace ings and bring on the season. Looking forward to it now

 

Just got back from the game, didn’t have my phone with me so couldn’t post updates. Decent performance, Hope to see us in play even better on Saturday with a few more first team players like Ings.

A team of two halves today. Half a dozen regular starters and the rest were fringe players getting a chance. Of the starters, Tella, KWP, Forster and Romeu had very good games. Perraud, Salisu and Adams were also quite good. Redders disappointing but seemed to get better in the latter stages. Of the fringe players Diallo and Elynoussi were both excellent - worked hard and covered a lot of ground. Stephens did OK without standing out. Saturday will be an even bigger test.

 

Fingers crossed for Ely this season. We need that new blood and fresh energy desperately.

 

Mo El, could be this year's Vesty. Last year we were queuing up to drive him to Leicester.....

 

Think we need of fresh lot of everything at the moment SNZ!

 

With the Ings money and the £25m that will come from the sale of Vestergaard we should be able to buy three decent replacements

 

I’m still not convinced by Ely but I do think he’s the closest we’ve got to a Stuart Armstrong replacement should Armstrong get injured

And he didn't have his phone with him, so he probably thought that the increasing tidal wave of surprise, anger, then acceptance, from the rest of the crowd, was in response to the bars closing early...

 

After playing every single minute of the PL last season, JWP is almost certainly out of the Everton game with a knee injury.

No, he's just injured. They'll be a riot if we sell JWP now. He's got 4 years left on his contract. Unless they offer well over 100mill he isn't going anywhere. Ings played in the first few pre-season games.

 

He is becoming a bit injury prone, probably best off selling to Villa
