Ralph should get an apology from all the ‘experts’ who tried to get him sacked last year. Not many managers turn a team around like he has. No billions of pounds of transfer fees and a squad of international superstars. A real manager!
Jamie Redknapp not having that when Newcastle’s erratic form mentioned...all down to Saints in his opinion.
Absolutely, just about to post same comment, nice to see some people can still be gracious in adversity. Not easy we know, but appreciated.
I think they made it very easy for us. The rigidity of their back 5 gifted us the middle of the park for most of the game. Really glad that Bruce didn’t change it.
Hasenhuttl's comments about having the freedom to play at home without the crowds. Can't help but think there's a lot of truth in this. We're reactive as a crowd and that doesn't always work out too well. I'd go as far as to say that we don't deserve to be watching this team live in the stadium at the moment.
Pardew said it's a bad time for us to have an international break. I disagree. The less games we are missing Danny the better. Bertrand will be back and Ralph can give the players who aren't going on international duty a rest. Although that might not be very many.
Anyone else struggling to keep up with likes and posts? Can't remember a match thread like this since Anfield 2017.
Bit of a catch 22 , play like they did tonight and the fans would be creaming their pants. But we know if a defender makes a mistake then it quickly becomes toxic. I see keep lockdown for another ,7 months and we will be very close to the top
I do and I don't agree with that. While our home support isn't great, much the same as most PL clubs, we'll always respond to committed teams playing good football. Frankly, if we were allowed back and people couldn't get behind this team and manager then they should **** off and support the skates.
