Our gallant boys are set to do battle with the league leaders. Perhaps Che may repeat his wonder goal or we’ll crumble before their team of mega-stars. Who knows? Only time will tell - but I have a feeling I won’t be doing another thread for a few more years ….. over to you - oh, and UP THE SAINTS

Cheers, St O. I couldn’t be arsed to look it up. That’s why my match threads (I’ve only ever done one before) are “threadbare”
No problem, a bit of teamwork helps the thread, the more contributions the merrier. Good of you to take this thread up, hopefully you will get lumbered with a few more!
They have only failed to win 4 times this season but one of those was against us - so there is always hope! Besides, their recent form is crap, only scraped together the 10 wins from 10 whilst averaging just the 3 goals a game
If I can do something as difficult as that, surely now it’s not beyond possibility that Super Saints can beat this mob of overpaid “superstars” ?
The post match headlines. "Plucky Saints unbowed by City superstars take three points in X goal (add number) thriller. 11 MOMs for Saints.
Or Pep blasts any/everyone, as City were unable to postpone their match v some team in red and white, even though their tea lady, both kit men, and all their masseurs tested positive for Covid.
Got to look forward to this! We are capable of competing which we have proved, but City are in some form so we really need to be on our game obviously. Shame no Tino, but Peraud has done well and I’d like to see KWP rampaging up the right.
