I suspect that's the last of him in a Southampton shirt then! Across a seven-year spell after joining in 2008 from RC Strasbourg for a fee of £1m... Apps - 260 Goals - 15 DTLW
RonKo says there isn't any serious bid for the player, that must be an ego buster for Spider if true? My bad just watching the Presser and it was Clyne that had no serious bids, shouldn't believe everything that you read in the papers!
I have a horrible feeling someone will buy him just because they know he's available. Wouldn't be the best move for him under those circumstances. YOU HEAR ME MORGAN?
I think the only way we keep Morgan is if teams see him as too expensive. Gundogan is linked to Utd for £20m and Carvalho to Arsenal for £21m. Hopefully they both go through, so it narrows the teams that would want him.
Fair play to him after his little pre season sulk that he came back as committed and stronger than ever. Probably my fav player and the best 1.2m we have spent, especially given the financial circumstances we were in at the time. What is he worth in today's market, though would rather have him than the money in the bank. #legend
Will be absolutely gutted if he does go but not angry like last summer Shame he will not be able to play out the final part of the season to get us over the Euro line. I watched the BT Sport coverage of the Spurs game and was somewhat taken back by the comments from that miserable little scrot Scholes...he doesn't rate Clyny or Snidders to put it politely. Both not good enough for a top 4 club....maybe a Spurs or Liverpool possibly and potentially an Arsenal but doesn't feel either would fair any better than the Judas Gang from last summer
Like many others I've prepared myself for Morgan leaving this summer. It's a shame that an injury has cut short his final season with us. Fantastic player for us and a privilege to have watched him develop into the top class central midfielder he is today. Thanks Morgan (Please don't go).
After all the shenanigans of last summer, I can't get too worked up about another player wanting to leave. It's disappointing but getting emotionally attached to players has proven to be misplaced these days. I stopped doing that after Mike Channon left . As long as the club continues to progress then as far as I'm concerned, things are good. I've renewed the season ticket and looking forward to some new signings. C'est la vie as Morgan might have said.
