The theory seems to be that SE7 have borrowed some money from the "Billionaires" who are not actually investors at all.
SE7 planned to flip CAFC within two years and make enough profit (flogging it off to somebody) to pay back what they borrowed and line their own pockets.

The more money they lose, the deeper into trouble they get.
Charlton Athletic was always shafted whether their flip plan worked or not.
Seems clear already that it isn't going to work. So they're going down in flames with us.

An alternative theory is that Duchatelet, Sandgaard & SE7 are in cahoots to reduce CAFC to a tiny Club which can then be moved out of the Valley, after which Roland (or his son) then persuades Greenwich Council to let him develop the land. The conspirators then all get some lolly.

That does sound a bit arch, but I wouldn't put anything past Duchatelet.
It's well known he wants to hurt the Club as much as he can.

Appleton can only shuffle the cards he has atm:emoticon-0150-hands
I think he can be better than the previous 5 or 6. The January window will be interesting, for all.

Not that I care that much cos I don’t actually think he’s very good, but where is the rumour from about him being out for 5 months ?

Leaburn has just had an operation.
    What's the best case scenario?
It has to be 10 to 12 weeks.

It's frankly a medical miracle that a footballer can recover in that time.
After all we're not talking about being able to walk down the street. The pressures put on a footballer's legs are massive during a competitive match.
I don't think we'll see Miles Leaburn on the pitch again until March next year - maybe.

Confirmed now by Appleton. Best to assume he's out for the season. Poor lad must be gutted.

You can understand why they want to be anonymous after the abuse previous owners received.
