What's your favourite? OK, I live in Britain so can't get all the exotic stuff that maybe Comm or the Aussie lads can. I love cod. A nice big fat fillet, skinless & boneless grilled with some lemon juice on. Kippers with baby spuds, Dover sole or an Arbroath smokie. Love smoked fish. Mackerel wil plenty of vinegar, non brewed of course. Shellfish - ****ing love it. Winkles, mussels, prawns, crab, lobster. Anyone still forage the beaches for this stuff?
This is my favourite fish, Billy . . . . I love it when Mrs. A. cooks it at home I also love lobster, willicks, whelks and langoustine
Seafood. I prefer prawns etc to fish. I eat loads of squid. But fish wise, swordfish still rules. A cheaper fish is Dory. Lightly fried in butter. Superb.
Funny you should say that Brian. I'm the same. Trout & salmon are not really to my taste. I find them a bit rich. Tuna I only like out of a tin. Can't stand the steaks.
I find fresh water fish to taste muddy. I know there's techniques to neutralise it but it's just too much of a **** on.
Wrapped in foil, pepper, onion and a chunk of butter. Hoy on bbq. Job done. Keith Floyd eat ya heart out.
Billy, All of the above, favourites are Kippers with bread& butter, Arbroath Smokies, delicious, just love all fish. Living over here in the NW the chippies all do Haddock which is OK but prefer Cod. Good brain food is fish.
I`ve heard of that but never sampled it. Supposed to be a bit special. Must admit I do like me seafood. Not mad about freshwater. Don`t mind salmon now and again but that`s only a part timer anyway. Never tried the likes of swordfish or the more exotic stuff. Just never looked for it tbh.
