I keep getting a version which has the club badges. It doesn't behave like the old one.

You can't for example click from the league table directly through to a club page as you could before. Why the hell do they think we want badges at the cost of functionality?

I posted an image of how it was: Birmingham City followed by West Brom and then Swansea, all at 12:30 of course.

Well, if I wanted to, I could skive off this weekend as I think I've got the "Won't-Go-Away-Cough" that Sensible had. I'm just about going into the second week. No other symptoms: no temperature, no headache, no runny-nose, Covid negative but not much sleep either. I'll be going although I'm not looking forward to it, and I expect to be hoarse before the first goal.

    Goal Time: 25 minutes.

The won't go away cough still hasn't and after tests it is a toss up between COPD or even the onset of Asthma in my dotage. It could of course be neither in the end because the experiment into what it is is still ongoing. After seeing the practice nurse this week I now have two inhalers. If I carry on like this I won;t have room in my suitcase for my shorts end of next week.

Oh I'm sorry Sensible, I thought you were match fit again.

Twenty five goals it is for you Away. There are three on 37: Lyndhurst, me and Plym. Musty is on 27, Joe on 30 and Sensible on 34. On ordinary match days, when total goals doesn't yield points, we're often all below 30 and undershoot the actual total by quite a bit. When there are points for goals, we all go higher and are closer. I'm conscious that there are some must-win games in this to decide who finishes where and I wonder whether that will produce fewer goals from tight games. Who knows?

It's getting towards Beer-O-Clock and there won't be much time tomorrow given the lunchtime kick off. So....

    upload_2024-5-3_16-39-58.png

    upload_2024-5-3_16-41-56.png

Two things that stand out for me. Firstly, how far Southampton have fallen off the promotion pace. Ipswich, promoted to the division only this year, have overtaken them in the race to automatic promotion to the EPL. None of us expect them to win at Leeds with most saying they'll lose.

The other is that Joe and Lyndhurst think Rotherham (1 point from their last 5 games) will beat Cardiff.

The "Forty Five Minute Pot" has now been thoroughly stirred. Previously the sole domain of Plym, everyone's at it. Any advance on 51 minutes anybody? 44 minutes perhaps?

45 minutes has been known to last ten minutes.....if you know what I mean......o_O.

And it could last a lot longer with a serious injury.....that obviously we don't wish on any one.

Thanks SMH. I remember the last time we got relegated - not that that is going to happen again - but the Demport spontaneously came up with the perfect song. Bob Marley's Three Little Birds.

    "Don't worry bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing is gonna be all right.
    Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!
    "

It wasn't of course but still a great moment.
