Lets hope there is a reaction from Adkins and the players. A positive note. If we'd won the last game and beat Reading & Wigan we could have been in 6th now. Plenty still to play for starting with the piggies. Marshall Lichaj Burke Boon Kingsley Kane Marcus Irvine Bowen Campbell Kamil Growshitski and Bowen can interchange. The midfield three can shuffle across to cover when Kamil is down the wing. Bowen and Campbell to be closer together and work off each other. Not one down the middle and a right winger. This lot should have been drilled all week in how to defend as a unit. I expect it to be better. Let's keep Nigel in a job. City to win 2-1.
Our record there is dreadful. they're in rampant form unlike us. Their "100% blade, me" oaf of a manager has already played the '"High spending Hull City's squad are all internationals, we'll have to battle to get owt tomorrow" card to psyche up the curly-tailed hordes. One half of Sheffield are deluded buffoons, the other half love to play the old "little old sheff utd- the minnow pauper club" card. The truth is they all eat from the same trough and were weaned from the same sows. Don't be gulled by these. Chris Gene Wilder will be at it tomorrow, and Adkins is not liked at t'Lane. A point would be major coup for us there tomorrow, given the 3 years of downsizing and ****ishness inflicted on our club. Remember to wipe your feet well when you get back tomorrow.
Lets hope we stuff the ****ers Dennis and then we can all our enjoy our Saturday night. Oh, and as much as I loved Keith Edwards in his City heyday he can **** right off for me.
There are still some gammon on Sty Talk smarting over their defeat here last season, claiming it was disgraceful cheating by our fans (yes! that's right! our fans) because we threw some stuff on the pitch for 10 seconds -which of course then completely altered the outcome of the game. For the older fan, there are ancient porkers indulging in hate speech about Knighton, Simmo and Bill Baxter in March 71. What a set of sad ****s wrapped up in their own sense of victimhood . No wonder we saw em crying down Wembley Way.
One like isn't enough for that - the Dee Dars hate that chant, FACT ..... (I used to work with a load)
With the whiff of take over in the air, if the team can't get up for this, then they might as well get the Sat-Nav revved up for Scunny et al.
I don't see them getting up for this. Last season we took the lead before imploding as the locals stepped it up a bit in the second half. Our team last season was better than this year's who seem to me to lack cojones big time. Teams like Barnsley, Millwall and tomorrow's opponents play a 100% effort, in your face style that some of the snowflakes in our team aren't accustomed to, and don't cope with it at all well. Chris Wildboar is already stoking up their fans for this and the Toral and Evandro types will go missing if it gets feisty How's our record there by the way?
You would hope Sadkins/Madkins/Badkins will be determined not to lose face at one of his former clubs tomorrow, and will wind up the players like tightly coiled steel springs. I'm talking Ian Ashbee in a bad mood, taking no prisoners, determined to win the midfield battle at all costs. Not Owain Wyn Evans style 'Hello Hello' attitude. Thought we rejected Billy Sharp about 10 years ago? Now he's back to his 'best' and scoring for fun.
Nailed on 2-0 defeat. No doubt Adkins will fawn over Sheffield Utd and their team and how they deserve to go up or some bollocks like that, the dreadful twat....
Certainly can't see us winning today, at best a draw and I would be happy with that. We could be spending the international break in the bottom three.
