I agree on the last bit, but I don't think any manager bottom of the league can be doing well or close to well. Bowen had scored 3 in 5, it was ridiculous to drop him. Even their manager thought so. Last year he was lucky in getting Wilson and Hernandez. My judgement is based in this years dour football, again would I sack him? No. But would I trust him with 5 million in January. Not a chance. His last two jobs where failures and this is going the same way.
Well I think you are wrong city1905 and I'm willing to stake my reputation on here by saying now we've got the top 3 out of the way we will go on to win 5 out of the next 6 games. If we had just played 3 lower placed sides I'm sure we would have won one of those 2 losses and be almost mid table. honest
I completely disagree with you. But I really hope you are right and I would love Adkins to prove me wrong. I will happily admit if I'm wrong. I never want us to lose and I hate being negative the last few years have worn me down.
Just got back from my hols to be greeted by this refreshing burst of optimism from Chillo. Good stuff. One things for certain though if we lose 5 of the next six any talk of Nigel still being here will be academic.
oops this was the post I meant to quote, lovely to see the turnaround from the doom and gloom after this game despite not playing too bad back then.
We did, I've posted on numerous threads that I was wrong. More than happy to do so, I am delighted to be wrong about Adkins! It was never a personal vendetta just wanting the best for us. I am also delighted he has played Bowen and Grosicki every game since and it has worked wonders. So I wasn't totally wrong....just 99%!
