Kind of fitting really as he was the instigator of so many "taxi for" (making oppo players look silly) moments during his distinguished career. As with so many highly gifted mavericks of his ilk, he recieved a criminally low amount of England caps.
I was watching various highlights from the weekend’s games, on YouTube, and stumbled across the SUFC highlights of our game. Very, very biased and in their version Billy Sharp wasn’t sent off. Completely wiped from the highlights.
Moussa Djenepo in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49708080 I liked what Crooks said about him: Moussa Djenepo: The goal was just wonderful. If this had been scored by David Ginola, Thierry Henry or Gianfranco Zola we would be showing it every week for the next three months. It was Djenepo who produced a little bit of magic in Southampton's 2-0 defeat of Brighton recently but this is becoming something of a habit. Have the Saints found another Sadio Mane? I think they might have, you know.
