Starting to wonder how much longer Johnson should be allowed to go on. We’re getting worse and worse and his team selections are increasingly bizarre. I’m usually an advocate for stability but I’ve had enough of him.

Imagine him giving you a bollocking at half time man, a tubby short arse with a squeaky voice. I’d just laugh in his face.

I can accept defeat if teams are having to work their nads off to beat us, but we're handing goals to the opposition on a plate. The buzz that was around the place a couple of weeks ago has turned into a moan and it won't be too long before confidence is shot.

Embo, Pritchard & Broadhead might make a difference but something needs to change.

 

Wonder if Winchester should swap for O'brien at some point. Be intersection to see if he's a bit better at breaking up play in the middle, and O9 is a competent full back...

I think Johnson has got the selection wrong tonight. Gooch and O'Brien in to try to make us more streetwise and tougher to break against. The problem with that is we dont have the players to keep the ball moving or create chances. We therefore are on the backfoot.

For me we will get out of this league by playing the best football and getting Embo and Pritchard on the pitch. We will come unstuck at times but we have to go to win games, whereas tonight for the first time I think Johnson has gone to not lose. I like him because he so far has valued attacking play so this change is a worry.

That said if we get the next goal they will panic a bit. They are great at conceding winning positions. We need Embo on and Broadhead though to do it.
