Man banned from Lidl ‘after assaulting staff’ who said he couldn’t bring pet sheep inside A man has been banned from every Lidl store in Northern Ireland after he allegedly assaulted a member of staff over his pet sheep. Andrew Dunleavy rowed with the woman after she said Chops the sheep had to leave the supermarket in Portrush, County Antrim. The 32-year-old said he’d popped in to buy his pet some digestives, her favourite treat, when trouble flared. Police have since told him he mustn’t return, or enter any other Lidl in Northern Ireland.
