To be fair, ER is spot on. Rocket, or "Uncle Jim" as he asked me to call him, did try and get me to go to the toilets with him, I had to be honest and tell him he was not my type.

The manager knew, board members probably knew, the owners of the club knew. They employed the man who committed these awful crimes and supported him in court.

Why would the fella lie? If he published that in a book, do you not think a few people would say "hold on, that's bullshit, Torbett didn't work for the club shop." Like I said this guy is more likely to know the truth than you, but you can deny all you want.

actually - to be correct - it would appear (if the author is correct and i see no reason to suggest he is) from your quote that torbett would have been a contractor - his business being "brought in" to reorganise the shop no? (i note you have now changed it to him definately being invited by the board - something which the author admits he does not know occurred - i love that you accuse others of sweeping etc but try and twist wee ponts to suit an agenda - integrity indeed )

if this is correct, are you, even for a second, implying that celtic are responsible for the actions of an independent contracting business?

if so then any organisation would be responsible for any sub contractor having abused children - that is patently ridiculous
