hoping we get promoted, are there any players that have impressed that are playing in struggling teams. as things stand the teams in trouble (bottom 6) are wigan,wolves,blackburn,bolton, qpr and west brom. Are there any players you would look to sign if they get relegated- for me the two keepers from wolves and bolton have played really well when ive seen them
Wigan - Moses, Di Santo, McCarthy, Caldwell, Gohouri, Rodallega, Figueroa Wolves - Kightly, Fletcher, Johnson, Berra, O'Hara, Jarvis, Milijas Blackburn - Samba, Nelsen, Gamst Pedersen, Dann, Andrews, Hoilett, Vukcevic Bolton - Muamba, Eagles, Petrov, Wheater, Klasnic QPR - Helguson, Wright-Phillips West Brom - Olsson, Tchoyi, Long, Morrison, Brunt, Dorrans, Jara, Shorey, Odemwingie, Jones, Cox, Wood, Tamas Plenty of talent there, though obviously some are unrealistic and some are in positions we won't need to strengthen. I'd very much like Chris Wood or Simon Cox should WBA go down, but I doubt they will (Wood could still be available regardless). Morten Gamst Pedersen would be a wise addition, and someone like Scott Dann, Christophe Berra or Roger Johnson would be fantastic at the back. On a much more optimistic note, it'd be great if we had Samba, Hoilett and Odemwingie in our team. I imagine, though, that they'll be wanted by bigger clubs.
Yes out of that list i like: Moses, Rodallega (Maybe), Jarvis (THink he has a bigger future), Eagles. And yeah maybe Johnson or Dann.
Agreed The only player that stands out for me, along with Vorm (Swansea) the best keeper in the Prem this season.
Are you kidding? al-Habsi constantly flaps at shots, barely looks comfortable at all. On his day, he's great, but his day isn't often enough. It doesn't help that he lost me 200 quid at the start of the season too...
