That's why he got a hiding playing in the Galway county champ a few year's back, he was apparently showboating, it's stupid and he's prob well able to look after himself now, I think skill like that should be encouraged in the game and not have some wolly old bastard looking to smash you up if you produce a moment of skill.
This but then you get the whole "its a mans game" squadron out to defend the smashers. Just look at some of the disgraceful tackling in the video I have linked and the comments defending it. Im not advocating going down the soccer road but player expression has to be allowed and skills encouraged if the GAA is going to expand into a wider market. At the moment there are too many people who dont want to see its expansion bringing it down.
wrong vid jacky. everyone had a bash at that at training last night. I was trying it on the beach for an hour this morning. people just thought I couldnt do a jab lift properly.
I only remember one game they didn't pull that dirt...they beat us so badly they didn't even pay us the respect of cheating.
hmmm..... Kerry are funny with all their bullshit psychology that they all play. including kerry pundits, players (current and past) and fans. they know it is funny. they know they are being disingenuous. they deny it, but they know they get away with murder and they know we know. Kilkenny actually believe this "on the edge stuff". Their carry on with the GPA stuff showed them all to be bottle jobs (with one exception) as men as well as hugely self serving. That is evidenced by their pathetic attempts to promote football. sticking 2 fingers up at the aims of the association.... the cats by a distance
