    **** me it's just occurred to me we've lost 3 out of our last 18 PL games. 3 in the equivalent of virtually half a season.

    That’s disappointing, but we can’t expect perfection yet. Let’s at least give him the next 18 games and see if he improves before we give him the boot.

    Even if you consider the 19th game (a loss), to make it a half-season’s worth, we’ve accumulated 35 pts over those games. At that rate over the whole season we’d finish 3rd (based on the 19/20 final table)
