I only ever watched this. I was in the habit of turning off my TV set to go out & doing something less boring instead.

i suspect this one was preparing me for coming to terms with jazz music many years later. apart from being educational, of course.

do feel free to join in! i put a clip of catweazle in the may rip thread because i found out today that catweazle died in may and them two thought it was bizarre. so i thought i'd do a thread instead of muddying the dearly departed thread.

funnily enough, i've seen that on facebook on a "do you remember the 1980s?" page - i remember it from the 1960s! it never seemed to make much sense, other than connecting up the three musketeers and danger island and shazzam (with a camel called kaboobie) and then the other one that replaced danger island, iirc.

Arabian Nights. Size of an elephant!!!!

As you say it was something just to group all the cartoons together, although you can't beat the tune to it, which was later released as a single by the Dickies which was awesome, so good i bought it in Yellow Vinyl, then lost it only to find it again when i visited our kids house a couple of years ago....
