Anyway, I think we should overlook the result in the last PL game and be thankful that MBOTS has now won 2 in a row with 2 clean sheets. Please can we have the next Arsenal thread sometime soon?

Fair enough, can we have a volunteer for the Arsenal PL game which is on

Perhaps struggling for goals would have been more suitable. I think that we did well over Christmas and you expect this when you have thin squads and key players are out.

Delighted with the result and performance. Insightful analysis on the BBC with Alex Scott and Dion Dublin this evening (had to watch the highlights again!).

It did annoy me when the commentators on BT said “with Arsenal seven points behind the top four, Tuesday’s game is crucial for them”.

We’re five points behind the top four - it’s more crucial for us...

The other thing - the phase where Danny hits the post and is then flagged offside. He was a mile onside.

Think I prefer leaving more of the linkup play to Diallo than JWP, where possible. JWP is an attacking threat in the right circumstances, but Diallo has much more of an influence on keeping our tempo high than either JWP or Romeu.

Pretty well thanks, trying to avoid this awful virus. I hope it's left you alone too.

Really like Alex Scott, how refreshing, I didn't know a great deal about her as a player but as a 'pundit' she really does her homework. So much better than Danny Murphy or Jenas, hey she didn't even mention Hojbjerg played for us.

You get a more balanced and informed perspective on a match from players who have not played for the so called elite clubs and probably the best of them is Steve Claridge. Murphy is the most inept of the lot of the current crop of pundits. His comments on the Cheltenham game yesterday verged on the insultingly offensive. I may start taking lessons from the snide bastard.

I’ll have a go if you like - not that I can repeat some of the wonderful previous ones and always worried that I’ll bring my bad luck to the team (I’m a long time Saints supporter ....)
